Women's Scarves and accessories

Ladies, have you ever been getting ready to go somewhere and you've tried on two, three or four outfits and find yourself frustrated because nothing seems to match or it just doesn't quite look right, even with jewelry? The great thing about scarves is that it's the one addition to your wardrobe that can transform a mundane pair of slacks and blouse into an eye-popping, chic fashion statement. I love the fact that such a small piece of fabric wrapped just so around your neck can put together that so-so outfit and bring out the colors from anything you're wearing. It can make you look sophisticated and fashionable if you put the right scarf with the right outfit. I like all kinds of scarves in various lengths, colors and fabrics. Although solid colors are nice, I prefer scarves with at least two or three colors in them so that it will make your wardrobe more interesting and also you can use one particular scarf for many dress combinations.

Now that you've bought a few scarves, now it's time to buy a few brooches and handbags to complete your look. You'll have fun combining all these accessories with just a few pants, jeans, and blouses. When choosing your handbags, you'll want to find one that will go with your various clothing combinations but more importantly, keep in mind the colors of your scarves. If you want to make a splash and you have, let's say a scarf that has green, yellow and purple in it, you can choose one of those colors, say yellow and find a yellow handbag that with the scarf, will get some attention. Do you have a favorite color that you love to wear? Then find that color in a scarf (preferably with at least one or two other colors so you can use many other ways). Are you mad about Lime Green? Go to thrift stores and have fun trying to find that lime scarf, choose your handbag and if need be, some shoes and you've got it all together.

You're coming along and looking Mah-va-lous, Darling! Now let's look at some simple pins and brooches to set off your look. Since you've probably got some multi-colored scarves you're going to want to tone it down a bit with a simple brooch, hopefully something smooth and simply designed in a gold or silver. You can pin it into the scarf and through your blouse carefully to hold the scarf in place. If you wear earrings you can go dangly or with studs, but make sure if the brooch is silver then the earrings are also and the same with gold.
